Due to an admin error they came to us over 4 weeks after the exchange of contract and the final invoice had been settled, to confirm a large payment was due. At no point during the 4 month process of purchasing the house had this cost been mentioned. When I questioned the payment, I received I very patronising email, alongside a small apology for their oversight. Won’t be using them again or recommending to others.

Unfortunately, I'd been recommended this place when they had a good and reliable solicitor in place, who left shortly afterwards. My divorce then seemingly got lost. From what I can see, someone replies to negative reviews online stating that the reviewer was never a client. Do not believe it - their attempts to undermine are typical.

It was a constant hassle just trying to establish what was going on with a very simple divorce. They twist words, attempt to lie and place blame on you (even with records in emails) and demand extra payments to answer simple questions. Even trying to find out what stage my divorce was at, such as if I needed to fill in anything extra or whether certain forms had been sent off, seemed to become a fight. They messed up details such as names and addresses, didn't contact my partner's solicitor, were rude and abusive and so much more. When I followed their provided complaints procedure to see if I could sort things out, I was emailed that "they had looked into my case" and then followed up with more incorrect details, inconsistencies and blame. If you want a solicitors that takes your money, doesn't do the job and attempts to hide behind blaming you for it before utterly and completely ghosting by refusing to respond to any communication - go for it. For me, they made a stressful time so much worse for absolutely no reason. I had to go to someone else and essentially start all over again.

I have just used him again to do the conveyancing on another property I was selling.
