Called in to Dulverton today and thought we would support the local butcher with £38 of purchase.
I should have read reviews first. We purchased a load of their kebabs, chicken, lamb, and beef. Never thought I could eat anything as dry and completely tasteless. I am a very accomplished chef but Michael Cain could not of revived anything from these.
Local businesses moan about the supermarkets, let me tell you I have never purchased anything that tasteless from a supermarket or any other butchers.

Bought rump steak from this butchers.
Quite honestly the worst rump steak I have ever purchased from a butchers.
Taggy and full of gristle.
Almost impossible to cut and eat.
This mob give butchers a bad name!
Really angry about this. Good money down the drain.?
AVOID!!!!!

Absolutely shocking Customer Service. Two ladies leaned up, outside against the shop window. The two fresher sausages as shown, were thrown at me! My minced steak looks like is been on the shelf since last week. AVOID this place.

Our pies were the worst pies we have ever had. Minimal chicken i.e. 3 small pieces and shred of mushroom with a scraping of sauce.
Totally disappointing and unbelievable for a country butchers in a farming town.

The only good thing about this place is Matt very helpful and had a good laugh. Wouldn't feed anything purchased here to a dog, Leanne was incredibly rude and unhelpful - not to mention the fact she was drinking cider and gin behind the counter during working hours, and wearing dirty unhygienic wellies. (I have seen all of this on multiple occasions). I also happen to know 3 families in the Dulverton area who have seemingly been quite ill after eating the 'Minted Chicken Breast'. Vile. I know from first-hand experience their pre-cooked whole chickens are disgusting.

I called into this shop today, & was very dissapointed, I purchased a steak burger & some chipolata sausages, if I hadn't have known that I had bought a steak burger I wouldn't have had a clue What it should have been, , must say it looked good, but on eating it there was no flavour what so ever , very bland & certainly not worth the £1.85 it cost,
