In my personal opinion based on my personal experience I would say that this service was a complete waste of time and money. So before you start mediation you need to have an initial consultation to assess whether or not they can help, This assessment is £120 including VAT, at the very start I told Sue that my ex is not amicable and the ex even said she will not be amicable, the ex has never told me what she wants, she just chooses to use my children as weapons to hurt me. So in my opinion even doing an assessment was a waste of money, but I was told they would be able to tell if they can help us, and surprise surprise after the assessment I was told they could help, which initially gave me hope, so the mediation sessions are 90 minutes at a cost of £225 each party, so on the day of our first mediation session the ex went first in shuttle mediation, when it was my turn there were only ridiculous demands, the same demands that I warned sue of in the assessment, all I got from Sue was her trying to get me to give in to my ex’s demands with nothing of mine being addressed, let alone met, this was obviously going to happen, everyone could of seen this, apart from Sue in my £120 assessment, and they were prepared to have multiple sessions at an extreme cost for actually doing nothing. In hindsight I would say save your money and get a mutual family friend to help mediate.
