Plz dont use this solicitor. I went for Solicitor help he keep changing prices. Not recommended. He was very unprofessional. Also in my completion statement there were £2000 extra , when i told him he removed as it was extra. If i didn’t read completion statement i will end up paying £2000 extra to him. So beware and careful.

My parents had a positive experience 3 years ago. Today I spoke to the solicitor and he's manner was so unprofessional I was appalled. He spoke over me continually and didn't allow me to speak suggesing he was incredibly rushed/ under pressure. Made ageist assumptions when i was calling for advice for an 80 plus year old. I would recommend retraining. Very insensitive non professional.

Solicitor Mr Selvarajah wanted me to transfer £500 into His account BEFORE meeting him or even booking an appointment with him.
Asked for some advice on access to foreign accounts. After advising me stated he didn’t want to sit there and advice me longer.

Rude, unprofessional attitude, stated been in the business for 30+ years but behaviour shows otherwise.
Would not recommend his firm or his services at all.

Pay elsewhere and get a more professional service.

Only gave 2 stars for the very nice receptionist who I think should offer her professional services where it’s deserved.

We recently used this firm for our parents Will and LPA. I cannot recommend them highly. Jaina was very professional and explained the process very well. Mr Selvarajah is highly knowledgeable and lighthearted/friendly.

I contacted Selvarajah & Co in May/June 2020. I found the solicitor and the admin team or junior solicitors incredibly rude and disrespectful. I contacted their team for their will providing services. They stated that they would be able to provide my father with a will and we solely needed to get a letter from the GP stating my elderly father has the mental capacity to write his will. Selvarajah made numerous inappropriate comments, I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of all of the staff. I made a complaint and was met with shrugged shoulders and a nonchalent attitude from all of the workers. I decided to stay with them due to my father wanting to complete his will due to the pandemic. So I recently contacted them again because my father changed his GP surgery and they had asked for the solicitors to contact them asking for the said information. I sent an email asking for them to provide a written letter or email requesting info in regards to my father competency. I had no response after a few weeks so i contacted them and asked if they could provide this. They then turned around and said 'due to professional reasons' they will not provide the will writing service to my father. I asked what the reason was, they would not provide me with one, I was clearly upset on the phone and confused because they wouldnt give me a reason and they said they wouldnt and didnt have to give me a reason, the woman on the phone became very rude and stated - 'we dont have to give you a reason, we just will not provide you with this service, go and find it elsewhere' when asked for recommended solicitors in the area the woman became exasperated and said 'nothing to do with us, go and find it yourself' i was shocked and astounded at the level of disrespect she then proceeded to drop the phone on me. I am so upset and shaken by how unfairly we have been treated and the lack of communication/advice and support i recieved. I would urge anyone to NOT use their services. The worst solicitors i have ever come across. I will be making a complaint to the ombusman/solicitors regulation. The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL solicitors ever. Please do not waste your money or time, you will end up regretting it

My wife an i used Mr Selvarajah to write our wills. We did this in November through the will aid scheme. Mr Selvarajah and his assistant/student Rohini was very proffesional and gave us lots of good advice as this was our first will. He is also quite a friendly character.Made us laugh with some stories from his past. All in all he did not treat us like strangers. I am sorry for the late review.
I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and hope to use them in the future.

Terrible Service! I am an Estate Agent and my vendor used this company for the conveyancing of her property. The solicitor Mr Salvarajah NEVER came to the phone or returned my calls throughout the whole process which made it very difficult for the sale to progress smoothly. Luckily I was able to feed through comments via the vendor.

These people are criminals. Stay away from them. Asked for a witness to a signature but ended up being swindled out of £175 when it should have been £5 to £10. No legal advice was offered instead personal questions about employment status and marriage status were asking by the crooked selvaraja. Stay away from this fool and his firm if you want honest and legal help.
