I'd heard a lot of good things about this place, so I popped in today to see if it's as good as they say. And I'm very happy to report "it's even better than their best reviews". I tried some delicious Sui Mai Dumplings and a few simple Chicken Satay Skewers which would've got five stars in Yeowarat Road, never mind sunny Maghull. So I'll be going back next week to test Head Chef Jake and Super Sous Chef Sam, because I've never known any chef get those Sui Mai so perfect twice in a row. They were spectacular. And as it turns out, hostess Chloe is also an excellent photographer (check out the pics she took below). I'll give Furasato my FIVE STAR (PLUS) RATING, and I'll make it my new favourite place in town. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(+) #PERFECT #ABSOLUTELYPERFECT

Attended for our anniversary.

Not a big establishment but a really nice intricate atmosphere. Food was wonderfully presented with an array of tastes to satisfy anyone’s palette.

Service was great too, very attentive and on point. Quite rare to find places like this nowadays.

Keep up the good service. It’s obvious this business is run by someone who is passionate about what they do.

We’ll be returning.

So, I came here last week, and it was so (very, very) good that I promised myself I'd come back when I had more time to test Chef Jake. And test him I did 😮 Got here fifteen minutes before they opened, but that didn't faze anyone in the slightest. Nice young chap named Vladimir opened the place up for me, so I told him privately what I wanted to do, and then let him choose three starter plates for me. That took everyone out of their comfort zone, but WOW, what a selection he came up with. Ordinarily I would've chosen the tried and the tested, but today, I felt adventurous, and tucked into some delicious Crispy Fried Ham Hock with pineapple atchar and chilli caramel vinegar. Korean Cauliflower Bites with gochujang and sriracha mayo, sesame and spring onion. And the Char Sui Glazed Baby Back Ribs with pickled onion, spring onion and sesame seeds. And just like last week, they were better than anything I tasted on Yaowarat Road. Truly scrumptious, with just the perfect blend of the spicy and the sweet. The surprise of the day were the Cauliflower Bites, far and away superior to any boiled ones I rattled up on Christmas Day. And the Crispy Fried Ham Hock tasted amazing dipped in the chilli caramel vinegar. But my favourites were the Char Sui Glazed Baby Back Ribs, because it's so easy to get these wrong (and I've had enough dried out rubbery ribs in the past to realize that this chef knows how to get them so moist they almost fall off the bone). They were amazing. Three dishes I may never have tried before but oh so glad Vladimir pointed me in the right direction. But the whole crew were amazing, considering I'd interrupted them before they'd even started. Young James (who served me) looked almost as excited as me (he really, REALLY wanted me to enjoy my Furusato experience). And I did. So much so that I told Chef Jake to his face ("five stars young fella, five stars PLUS because he didn't realize he was being tested"). Which means he treats all his customers with this kind of respect. And I admire Furusato all the more for that. I don't think young Lauren quite knew what to make of it when she cleared my plates away (I very nearly licked the Korean sauce straight off the plate it was that good) but the whole experience was magnificent. I plan on going back next week to start on the main course menu 🥰 You should pop in and try it. Without doubt the best Pan Asian Restaurant in town. Definitely FIVE STAR PLUS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(+)

Great place but don’t go there during peak hours for the chicken wing challenge you don’t get served fast enough. We hit 30 wings and the table next to us hit 45. We struggled to get served at points had to stand up to get attention to get more service, just avoid being stuck in the corner. I questioned the manager and he said “don’t come here during peak hours” kinda strange as the table we sat next to has so much more service, great food but manager handled things poorly

Some of the best wings I've had, but the sauce definitely needs more gochujang. The stuffing isn't nice at all, feel as though it's deep fried!?

The roast itself was nice, generous serving of beef.

Beer selection is great with Asahi, Cruzacampo and Neck Oil

I’ll start by saying the waitresses were so lovely, however please don’t think to come here to do the wings Wednesday. You will just get scammed. It’s £25 pp for and hour and a half and honestly 40 mins of that was waiting for your next order of chicken to come out. The people on the leaderboard 100% had more time than what’s given to everyone else. I saw other tables aswell complain how the time for your wings to come out just eats away all the time you have there. I have been to other wings Wednesday with a time limit however I never felt like I had to rush, I could actually talk and enjoy my food instead of rushing so I could get my next order through. Never again will I come back here 🙁

We were a party of 7 and had arranged to meet up with friends from New Zealand who had been impressed with the Furusato last time they were in the UK. We had booked a table for lunch time. We were greeted by a very friendly member of the staff and shown straight to our table. Glad we booked because the restaurant turned out to be quite busy. We ordered drinks and perused the menu. We all settled on the 3 dishes for £20 lunchtime option, which meant that we virtually had every dish available. The portions supplied were more than ample and each item was beautifully prepared and presented. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and a great get together for us all. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this restaurant !

Fabulous food! Excellent service! Lovely decor and atmosphere. They even do a quiz on a Monday night. Would recommend and will be returning here soon.
