Excellent service! My second year using Reclaims UK to get a tax refund, both times it was quick, efficient and simple.

They took all the hassle out of making the claim, completing all the paperwork and explaining what was submitted, even ensuring wording that each was a one-off claim, to prevent issues with the following year’s tax.

Well worth their share as commission for doing something I would have difficulty (or maybe even not bother) claiming myself.

Terrible customer service. I recieved a claim through this company, which triggered a change in tax code higher than my original, esentially reclaiming the total amount given to me. I informed reclaims UK of this as soon as i received the letters but had little to no response. My tax code has finally reverted back to the standard after nearly a year, essentially making my claim void.

Terrible company, been following up for over a year now, where reclaims agent, had been opening and shutting tax accounts without proper evidence of claims. Is now costing me £8000+ to try and sort this through HMRC and Reclaims.

Reclaims doesn't responded to emails and just delays any contact, I have had to contact through various different ways to get a response as they no longer reply to my emails.

Avoid this company, it is not worth the time or money, you can fill in an assessment form yourself on the gov website, using the info YOU have to provide them anyway, you keep 100% of the money.

Appalling company, last year son was in the army so how could he be self employed, he recieved a £100 fine from HMRC but I explained what had happened and cancelled it. Then this tax year another letter from HMRC saying self employment assessment has been set up again but he's on the sick. They have applied for his rebate again

Watch out, they prey on the soldiers situation!!! I’ve had issues with my tax ever since they got involved with my claims. Very sly how this company does business.
I claim HDT and is included in my payroll as job expenses.
This company’s selling point was that the cost per mileage for my HDT was incorrect and I was entitled to a tax return.
What I was not aware of is this company who was meant to be representing me, actually took me to the cleaners. Once I had signed their documents to allow them to represent me, they rang HMRC to cancel my job expenses (which is how you get your tax return) but my payroll still shows I am getting job expenses in the form of HDT. HMRC reviewed my taxes for that year and found that I was under paying tax because of the removal of my job expenses.
What I’m also appalled with, is this company is allowed onto Army premises and advertise themselves and do business with soldiers. They even have a picture of a soldier as their poster boy!!
