Thompson Architecture is tremendous.

Seems a bold, yet simple statement, however as a client of theirs, they have guided me through the whole process of initial home thoughts, workable plans that meet my needs, development permissions, regulation and contract tender process. We are now in the delivery aspect of project management, which they, once again, have shown a level of anticipation and commitment to my project that is impressive but also crucially, personal. The whole team, Matthew and Chloe in particular, are invested in ensuring my project is not just another build, but something that grows with me and my circumstances whilst remaining true to my desire to recycle, reuse and sustain.

If there were a sixth star option, they would get that too!

From first intial enquiry to the measured drawings and revised drawings, the whole experience has been very easy. Matthew came out to see what we wanted to do and see the house and the site and we discussed what we would like to achieve. They came back to do a measured survey of the site and then 3-4 weeks later we had our sketches of 4 different options all of which matched our requirements but were different options in there own rights. Very pleased with the plans and we made a few adjustments and took a few things from each drawing to come up with the revised plans. Matthew and his team have given us a great scheme for our large family that will give everyone something and more. Can’t wait to get the build under way. Would highly recommend Thompson Architecture, very friendly polite and professional firm who puts the customers needs first and foremost.

Thompson Architecture have recently had planning permission approved on an extension to the front elevation of our cottage in a conservation area. Another architect told us it would not be possible due to these factors but Matthew was confident it would.
