Staff are lovely (5☆☆☆☆☆)
Shop telephone don't work don't even ring very difficult to contact. Need to go directly to the post office and talk to staff if any questions as there's no other way of communicating with them. Not great if your elderly or have poor mobility. Would advise use a different post office if you require good communication.

Such an asset to Mangotsfield and Downend! The opening hours are really helpful, the staff are hard working and friendly. It's a busy shop and post office, so sometimes there is a queue, but this moves quickly.

If you’re looking to use the Post Office facility here then be prepared to be ignored. The staff openly prioritise people who are queuing behind you if you’re holding a package. Apparently buying milk etc makes you more important.

Really poor service! The amount of times I stand waiting to be served and they completely ignore you whilst they all faff around over something completely minor such as where Susan has put her pen etc. They also often turn away parcels because they say they havent got much space left, surely as a post office this is their job!! On top of this the general attitude of the staff is that you are an annoyance to them rather than wanting to help & provide a service.

Said they couldn't offer the service my friend required even though the website suggested they can. They also left at 1815 hrs when their opening hours displayed suggest they open 6am till 8pm 7 days a week for post office services. Poor service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Had our DPD parcel delivered here, and the lady decided it was ‘too big’ so within less than half a day of receiving it, she sent it back!! Which we found out when we went to collect this evening!! Now we are out of pocket and without gifts needed for next week! And having to try and track the items down!
The lady couldn’t have cared less!! Not even an apology.
I never leave bad reviews, but on this occasion I had to post in the hope that someone else can avoid their terrible service!

I will never come back to this post office. Just because I asked her if she wouldn't mind to give me some tape to send off my envelope, here what she said: we don't have the tape for free, you will have to purchase one, you can buy the small one. How rude after spending £16 pounds on postage. She was annoyed I can tell just for a small piece of tape. Surely, if a friend of her will ask her the same thing, I am not sure she wouldn't have been so arrogant.
