I am so grateful to have Belvoir as my letting agent. Both Hugh and Gavin have been really helpful through the moving in process and are really fast to answer phone calls and fix problems. Hugh seems to be able to fix ANYTHING personally which has made repairing the shower and fitting a TV aerial really fast. It is also nice not to have workmen you don't know or trust in the house. Hugh came to my house 5 minutes after I called to report a water leak on a Friday night and fixed it there and then. I feel really lucky to have them as my letting agents and would totally recommend them.

Have to say that Gavin and Hugh are both stand up guys, very friendly and professional, and always understanding of any situations that may have arisen.
Always sorted any problems and answered any queries promptly, they couldn't have done more and always had the utmost respect for us.
I would never use a different estate agent, as they give a personal service and really make you feel like a friend rather than just another customer, I trust everything Gavin says and know he wouldn't just palm you off with excuses etc.... Thanks ☺

Not living in the area I needed someone I could trust and rely on to look after and manage our property. I chose Belvoir firstly because of the information by Gavin on their website. It was friendly and informative but the main reason was it was not pushy or full of jargon and I automatically felt I could trust them. After meeting face to face and speaking on the phone both Gavin and Hugh made the whole process very easy and explained things fully along the way. I have been so impressed and felt so assured with all of the updates and could not be happier in my choice of using this team. It is very comforting knowing they 'have your back' and are always there to sort out any issues. Believe me, there has been boiler issues, shower issues and electric issues and all have been handled swiftly with no fuss and these issues rectified and that is what you need when you are so far away and unable to respond to any outstanding actions. I wanted to purchase a 'Buy to Let' property in Thanet to give me an income. I don't live in Thanet and hadn't bought a property for 35 years so was rather apprehensive about the whole process. Belvòir was recommended to me so I went to see Hughie & Gavin. I have been so impressed by their professionalism. They were happy to advise me every step of the way, from the type of property to buy, which areas are best for rentals, and those areas to avoid. They also did 'pre-purchase' inspections of houses I considered buying, to avoid me paying for an expensive full survey on an unsuitable property. They were able to recommend a very helpful local surveyor, and keep a list of experienced local tradespeople to call upon should that be necessary. They have even undertaken minor repair jobs themselves! They found tenants for my property within two days of advertising it, and my tenants were in the house very soon after Belvoir had undertaken all the necessary reference and financial checks.
