buying homes & conveyancing is complicated. You dont often do it so its always stressful. Curtis Parkinson & Louise, despite some stress from me, really went out of their way to help complete to a very compressed timescale. I'm really grateful & it was a good service, so thanks. Would use again.

Slow and unresponsive doesn’t cover it. Ignored numerous emails and I ended up doing the vast majority of the work for them and was still charged for their time. The solicitor handling my property sale and purchase went on holiday and no one in the office could answer my questions and just got a curt reply saying it will be dealt with on her return.
Three people in the purchase chain with the first being a first time buyer and contracts being exchanged the week before you would think completion day would be straightforward. Myself, other solicitors and estate agents were unable to speak to anyone on completion date and the funds were not chased despite phone calls and emails. Told by the estate agent that the sale had completed at 2:45pm so handed over the keys. Nearly 4 weeks on, I’ve still not been informed by the solicitors that this has actually happen! Money finally hit my purchase solicitor at 4:53pm and I was informed by the estate agent that I could have the keys. I had to pay a massive waiting fee to the moving company despite being packed up and homeless several hours earlier. If it wasn’t for my purchase estate agent and solicitor dealing with the sale of my new home I would have had nowhere for myself and children to sleep that night and would have to find storage for my possessions.
The not so pleasant experience was then topped off when I received their statement of account the very next morning.

Curtis and Parkinson have been fantastic over the years , everything from Wills, Trusts, Probates and Conveyancing. The kindest and understanding shown to me during a most difficult time was amazing. The fees were clear and transparent and very easy to understand ,
I dealt with several people through out these processes and I found all to be equally professional and understanding. When I sent a question by email it was responded to the same day and if I called and requested a call back they called. I would highly recommend them.
