I approached the solicitors in January 2022 for an immigration issue. The communication was extremely slow, lots of solicitors continue to change in the firm which delays matters. We paid £1500, I decided as the process was taking too long and it’s faster if I do it myself asked for a refund as nothing had been carried out by the solicitors. I got a refund in July 2024 of £600, there was a £900 charge for sending a few emails back and fourth to myself & for preparing an application form for which I have no evidence as nothing was ever sent to me. I do not recommend DV, high priced & many hidden costs.

We met on Zoom and the process was simple and painless. Unlike other past experiences with others, I was delighted that Farida noted the spellings of my names and got them right first time. This was a simple will, and was completed without a lot of unnecessary fuss. I felt that the guidance given me was helpful and appropriate. And free! My wife and I used DV Solicitors for a property purchase and would highly recommend them. We would suggest checking for Nasar Ali and Shumail Tariq who handled our account, as they were fantastic. As most people know buying a property is a stressful experience, but Nasar and Shumail made a huge difference by doing a great job and keeping us updated on developments regularly. They were extremely professional, very approachable and even went out of their way to resolve some of our lender's requests, from what was already a very extensive list.
