I would like to put on record how positive my experience has been with Headway and In particular Elliott Parkhouse as part of their Cross-Border US service. Throughout the process, Elliot provided excellent communication and explanations for all aspects of my situation and the most efficient and profitable way to manage my funds. I cannot stress how life changing my interactions have been with such a professional group of people, especially Elliot Parkhouse. Being a Brit who is resident in the US, I initially found it hard to get the cross border advice that resonated with my long term goals, specifically for my very young family. Like many I had not paid much attention to ‘retirement’. I put off many of the things I should have done and consequently met its arrival with considerable anxiety. Not knowing where or how to start a referral ultimately led me to Headway. My flawed technological ability told me that I needed to deal with people rather than be ‘administered` to digitally (though the Headway App is very user friendly).
In the year since appointing Headway they’ve been great. They’ve done all my heavy lifting and put my initial anxieties to rest. Headway feels very much like a company of ‘people’, people with names and personalities all on my side and all there to help. My Advisor Hamzah is easy to talk to and his positivity and clarity has strengthened my understanding and confidence of pension finances. In year one the returns on my initial investments have been excellent giving me further reassurance that my choice to engage Headway was the right one.
