Check your receipt. i was charged for 4 stamp books, but given three. I went back later with the books and the reciept, and could have had a cash correction, but I chose a 4th stamp book. I have revised the rating from 1 star to two stars

Sold an item online and posted it with this post office. Lost my item and I had to refund the buyer so I’m out of pocket and without the sold item. Tracking says they have it, but that’s as far as it goes.

Great Post Office with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. All you need from a post office plus a little more...they sell what looked like lovely handmade chocolates!!

Be warned, I have twice taken items for posting and asked for proof of postage but the counter clerk has only given me a receipt for the stamp which would be useless in event of a claim as it needs to have some reference to the address. I only realised this after I had left the premises and they would then not do anything. It was the same clerk each time so she seems a little sloppy in her procedure so make sure you check before you leave

Very dishonest staff. I asked to post something Parcelforce 48. Sent the same item the day before for £9.90. Women said it was £13.90. I questioned it and she said it was the only option. Once I had the receipt she had sent it guaranteed am next day delivery. Every time I use this post office, they charge for the most expensive service.

Turned up one minute late after closing time to pick up an important medical parcel I had ordered before returning home up north. The parcel was marked as delivered at 12:25 and I was there at 12:31. Shouted at by very unhelpful lady until a male colleague informed me that the alarms were set and I could not get the medication. I now have to search for an alternative source urgently.

As same situation as last 1 star rating. I knew my item was there but they scan items at the last minute so they don't have to have a busy last half hour on a Saturday. Even went in and asked as I saw the drop off. Said no one had been!
