My LG television packed up over Christmas as the power board failed. LG quoted me a price of repair that was prohibitively expensive with a lengthy time period. The guys at HR Hodge got an upgraded replacement part and had the tv fixed within a a few days and at a price that did not break the bank. Great service, can’t recommend enough.

Top class service, would highly recommend these to anyone reading this. I took my LG 65" TV into these with a picture that was jumping up and down. After they looked at it, it was recommended by LG to have a new screen, which anyone knows this is very expensive. To get around this problem he just bypassed the data cable (I think) which brought my picture back and stopped the flickering, this was at a fraction of the cost of a new screen. Whats more the money that was spent on the item being looked at come of the price of fixing it, so was left with a very small bill.

I have had a further problem with the IR sensor which I couldn`t find the correct one for my model of TV. I phoned them back for some help with this and again outstanding response. He looked one up for me there and then on the phone, sent a link for me to order myself so I could change it myself. I could of taken the TV back to them for them to do but as I lived about an hour away and it was a simple job to to, it was again the cheapest option for me to order and do myself.

My experience was of complete honesty and very helpful, they did not try and rip me off, infact chose the cheapest option for me. One very happy customer and would be my first port of call if I ever have to have a TV fixed again or any other equipment that they could fix.

Unfortunately had to take my TV back as I had another problem with it, (nothing to do with previous fix), something to do with a chip on motherboard. A new one was going to cost about £250 but yet again was given the option for a cheaper option and use one of thier suppliers to get a reconditioned one at the cost of £60. Massive difference and a great deal for me. Now I have a fully working 65" TV at a fraction of the cost if I was to take it anywhere else.
I live about an hour away from this shop, and yes, there was a few repair shops closer to me, but with thier prices it was alot cheaper driving the extra miles to get the great service and unbeatable prices at H,R Hodge.

Absolutely brilliant service from the guys at H.R.Hodge, took in a faulty PC Monitor that wasn't turning on along with having some functions malfunctioning, contacted them by E-mail (after being turned away from Curry's expensive and long winded Repair Service) and received a same day quick response from Steve, dropped the monitor off a day later and the monitor was repaired and ready to pick up by the following morning for an extremely reasonable small cost and a great explanation as to what was wrong and how it was repaired and I couldn't be any more impressed by the professionalism and quick turnaround. Been using the monitor for a couple weeks since with absolutely zero issues.
Will be recommending and using in future for all my repair needs. Seriously impressive customer service and overall experience.

Excellent service of a vintage Technics Pre/Power amp, both of which had no power. Fair pricing & great service from these guys. So impressed I took in my old Technics cd player which they are working on now. Hopefully they can bring that back to life too. Highly recommended to all. Just remember these guys are a busy small independent local firm so might not be as quick as some would expect. Your patience shall be rewarded!! *
