My sister contacted BTMK Medical Negligence Solicitors regarding my father's medical negligence claim against the NHS that she wished to pursue. She provided them with all of our details, as well as information about my father's injuries and his hospital stay. After waiting for over a week, She was informed by BTMK that they were not interested in taking on the case and suggested that we file a claim with the government instead. The individual she spoke with on the phone seemed disinterested and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

It is disheartening to see that normal working-class individuals like my sister and my father are unable to secure legal representation for a medical negligence claim, despite BTMK advertising their services in this area. It appears that there may be certain criteria that need to be met in order for them to take on a case, criteria that my hardworking elderly father, who has dedicated his life to his work, does not meet. I am left wondering who exactly does meet these criteria, as it seems that justice is out of reach for my father.

Unfortunately, my sister's experience with BTMK has been less than satisfactory, and she cannot in good conscience recommend their services to others.

Update:
The hospital conducted an investigation into my father's injuries and has admitted liability, this would have resulted in a successful case. However, my sister was not informed of the cost of pursuing a private case. The lack of interest and unprofessionalism displayed by the phone representative was disappointing. As a result, My sister have lost confidence in BTMK and would not choose to contact them ever again or recommend them My sister will be seeking another solicitor
