I had terrible experience with this company. I am buying a property and this is the conveyancer that seller is using.
Straightforward case with no chain on either side or other complications, that should have been completed months ago, instead has been dragged on by Jefferies Solicitors for as long as possible with no end to it!
Their conveyancer doesn’t reply to inquiries or emails for months and needs to be constantly chased by my solicitor, seller and real estate agent as well!
Now it has come to the point that the Jefferies Solicitors’ lack of input has caused my solicitor’s time spent on this case to be in excess of the original estimate of costs and we are preparing to place a formal complaint.
The whole experience has been a nightmare and a total waste of time. Apparently this company doesn’t care about their clients at all. Be careful and avoid it as plague. It doesn't even deserve a one star that I put.

Very grateful to Bob Adams and his team and Julia Bakewell for their conveyancing work over the past Summer, they were able to complete in 10 weeks on a Cheshire property despite some bizarre obstacles thrown up by the other side.
