Earlier in the year I spoke with makin Dixon, told them my needs, this as very clear both in email and on the phone.
They told me the costs of the service would be £995, this was paid and an initial consultation was made.
After the initial consultation I was called back and told that the £995 wouldn’t cover the costs of service required and it would be substantially more.
I explained I had been very clear on my needs both on the phone and in email and asked for a refund and I’d go elsewhere as we had already been back and forth for over a week and I had a deadline to meet.
I was told that a refund can’t be issued to my original payment method (card transaction) and that instead a cheque would be issued.
So here I am 4 months on still waiting for my cheque to arrive.
The staff have been absolutely useless.
I still can’t understand how a refund can’t be issued to the original payment method and I believe that this goes against FCA guidelines and can constitute fraud, but then again, I’m no legal expert, but I’m not sure anyone at makin Dixon is either.
I would like my refund of £995 please, it’s been long enough.
Would not recommend to anyone!
