My mum has just had her first eye surgery at KIMS yesterday with Mr Almeida, everything has been so smooth! She has been treated so well and everyone was so kind from day one to the minute she left. Mr Almeida came to meet her in her room prior to the surgery and guided her through the process, nurses, care support workers, receptionist, hostesses and porters were all very kind and organised. Great team work and efficiency 😊

Pre operative care was really very good talked me through procedure etc as I am on medication I asked if I should take this before my admission I was told yes absolutely, I was due to have surgery in AM slot however my group and save blood test from the day before was not back in time so I ended up going for my procedure early afternoon.
Once I had my procedure I was kept in recovery and there were issues with my health medication and allergies, I ended up having to stay overnight this was standard really not much interaction from staff I was discharged to reception at 8 am, I was discharged without pain relief due to pre existing conditions I take medication and was advised by a nurse that co codamol is more than sufficient after surgery I did ask her if she had ever had the procedure I had if not then how did she know.! Four days later I was back seeing a clinician in my local trust with an infection I was put on steroids antibiotics and the right pain medication. Therefore I certainly would not recommend

Went along to support my ex partner having treatment and the staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish putting him at ease. I don’t think the staff could be any more kind or caring, especially Jen who was looking after him the most . What a lovely hospital.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!The worst time I have ever experienced of my life.Back in August i discover a unusual lump on my right breast.So i decided to book a visit to Kims Hospital as it seems to be a well known hospital in East England.Firstly, i paid £98 online when i booked the app.The next date they rang me to see if i am willing to see specialist and mamogramm ,it should £220.My answer was ,it is fine i can add the remind.On the 2nd of August I attended to my app.Firstly, I get to see a Miss Delliah , she palpabled my breast and she said ,i can see a lump on the right but nothing on the left.Then i went to the waiting room while they made me to sign a document with ultrasound and mamogramm prices, for intance I was shock !! Is it this real? The laidy never mentioned over the phone .In total £480 .I though ok if it is everything include is okay.Then they took me to do a mamogramm and ultrasound .However, they said you only have on the right breast a liquid cyst .I remenber this blode nurse saying ; you must be happy that you dont have anything!!
My next question is ok.How much would you charge to be removed and the doctor said £750.I was like ...hmmm i better go to my GP though.Next day i was traveling on my annual leave and i though hmmm this is not right ,,,i should book an app with my GP.During my vacancies i received a invoice of £220 and she ran me to make that payment .So in total £700 you must be joking!!!
After i back from my holifays ,i received on my letter box an invoice i am still owner £220 of the consultation.For instance i though how it is possible if i have made the whole payment .I emailed tbe secretary of the doctor and she apologises.
Long story short , i managed to book my app with my GP and he refer me to St Thimas Guys Hospital, without any questiin mark as i was concerning about mine liquid cyst and i wanted to removed whatsoever.The big day arrive ,4th of October i went to St Thomas Guys hospital.Firstly, i got to see a consultant and he done the same procedure as Kims hospital , palpable my breast.He said i can feel something on your left breast, so better have this check too.After being waiting to seen the second doctor .I ended up having an ultrasound ,bipsia and mamogramme.Sadly, i got cancer.I coudnt believe .How this Hospital and staff coudnt see that.I can see lack of profesionals ad knowlegde .At the moment , i m doing all my check outs with St Guys Hospital and soon i ll start with treatments.Besides this, i am doing some complaints to kims hospital.However, they seems to ignore me and they have decided not to refund me any penny.Only person she refunded is the consultant.She must feel she did a bad job .Today i received a responce from General Manager all he said is not true at all.Saying the tumor coudnt be palpable and it might have grown fast .Thats not true at all as tumor take time to grow.Hooe you all enjoy my story.I really not recommend this place at all ,,,,Horrible experience ever!!!IMake me sick to think all this ...

Just great care, from going in, to going out. Attentive staff, nice food and nice clean, comfortable facilities. If you are offered care at KIMS, have no hesitation, you will be looked after.

A very good experience across a number of visits. A relative of mine had their Hip replaced here, it was a completely different encounter to their NHS hip replacement. The surgery itself was far better, much less after care needed, anaesthetist was way better and they were home sooner.
I've also been in on a couple of visits and it works like a well-oiled machine, hardly any waiting around.

Such a shame NHS hospitals cant function as well as these places. It serves illustrate just how much reform the entire NHS needs if we want to repair it, money is not the magic bullet, the problems lie far deeper and are definitely not a simple.

The essence of a private hospital is to provide quick access to medical care for those willing to pay. Unfortunately, I needed consultations with three different specialists, and there were no appointments available for six weeks. The main issue seems to be that NHS work is heavily funding the hospital, which adversely affects private patients. It's a real shame, as we desperately need a reliable private hospital in Kent. The standard of service and availability of appointments in London are far superior.
