I met with George Hicks from The Private Office because I was worried I was making a mistake with my financial planning. But I was also worried that a financial planner would be a salesperson, trying to sell me their products. I couldn't have been more wrong - George listened to my plans and numbers and told me that my plans and understanding of my personal finance were good enough that I was doing all the right things and didn't need a financial planner. He then ran my numbers through their software and talked me through the conclusions (for free) to provide me with some reassurance as I was feeling so worried. The fact that he was so helpful and honest instead of trying to make money from me, means that I have no hesitation in recommending him. Thanks George, I really appreciate your help!

Clare's company worked seamlessly to get me to our initial 'screener' chat and ensure we would be a match in terms of needs from me and services from them. Chris was very informative and addressed our individual needs and circumstances. Chris explained thoroughly and presented an easy to follow graph with important predictions and realistic detail. There was no pressure at all and we felt at ease throughout.
Very easy to talk too. He listens and is also interested in your own situations outside of all the financial stuff.

So far so good. Initial meeting was all common sense. Feels like a good match for me as i want a sounding board rather than someone to take all my money away and manage it. Have booked a longer meeting to see where we go.
