Charles Hamer have been assisting us with the tax returns on our French property lettings for more than 10 years, from their UK office. More recently (upon the sale of the property) Emile Mengin, based in their office near Caen, succeeded in establishing that no Capital Gains Tax was due in France. The investigation into the UK CGT situation was undertaken taken by Geraldine Pouget who, having ploughed through 30 years if invoices, and supporting photographs, established that zero CGT would be due in UK.
