My experience of property solicitors had been, until now, a negative one. When Thirsk Winton provided us with an initial quote that was considerably cheaper than three other quotes we sourced, I was concerned that I was choosing price over quality. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. I engaged Thirsk Winton's services to handle an eviction and subsequent challenge to a CCJ. While the outcome of both cases was in our favour, I cannot wholeheartedly endorse the firm due to the perceived extent of the fees, as noted by the presiding judge. Moreover, I encountered challenges with communication, as the assigned partner was unresponsive to phone calls and appeared lacking in providing adequate counsel, attempting to upsell additional services.
Edit: I received a bolshy email from the solicitor after leaving this google review and my email response listing my concerns was subsequently ignored. Says it all really.
