Very poor communication and very slow to respond to emails even when they bother to respond, got pressured into chosing them by the estate agents for conevyancing. Spent most the time telling me they don't know what's going on and blaming the sellers solicitors (who were also using Sayer Moore). On top of that they requested a non refundable deposit to start work on the case, then 5 months later they say they are unable to start any work and refuse to refund the deposit.

Terrible service from this solicitor when we used them for probate of my mother’s estate. Emails from Corinne and/or her assistants were so difficult to interpret, poorly worded and confusing, which led to delays and worse, a hefty fee (I’m sure part of their scheme), because we had to have so many email exchanges to clarify what on earth was being said. Every time I tried to call Corinne was away, ill, working from home, so couldn’t speak to me. She conveniently “missed” some important emails from us so we have to nudge her for a reply, no doubt accruing a greater bill each time. Huge gaps between emails with us having no updates and no idea what was going on or what was taking so long. It took 9 months and a shockingly large final bill, despite my mother’s estate being fairly simple. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Patronising, condescending, slow and fundamentally not very good at their job. A relatively simple probate has resulted in a (long awaited) HMRC inheritance tax refund of over 5 figures through their ineptitude. Google doesn’t allow zero stars so it has to be 1.

At all times the communication was kept constant. There was no hesitation about presenting a worst case scenario and not avoiding the unpleasant issues. I felt a strong level of support at all times. Absolutely awful experience. Please do not use them, I lost 3 house sales because of their inefficiency or inability to reply to the easiest of queries. They caused huge distress and worry. The person who was ineffectively acting for the freeholder of the maisonette I was selling was Breege/Bridget. I cannot describe the upset she caused. A sale took 20 months because buyers lost confidence in buying from me because the freeholder’s solicitor, Sayer Moore, was so awful. I lost £200,000 because I had to reduce the price to get other buyers interested in a falling market. Terrible experience but if this review means someone else doesn’t use them and is saved some of this hassle then it’s worth it.
