Mr Coulson failed to submit my accounts on time and I had to pay ÂŖ375 fine to Companies House and another fine of ÂŖ100 to HMRC and wrote in the appeal that his computers were hacked (!) and his wife was sick (!) and the health of his wife was more important at the time . I took the fines off his fee and he then refused to forward the information to my new accountant and actually threatened to write to HMRC that my accounts were wrong because the accountancy fee was not correct unless I paid him his full invoice. My new accountant said that his accounts were wrong anyway and will go back and do them again and charge me for previous year's accounts too (for the year that Mr Coulson did the accounts for). The result is a double charge for those accounts and a lot of grief. He is not registered with the regulatory body of chartered accountants (ICAEW), so I cannot put an official complaint...
I have the appeal letter and his blackmail in writing.
