Today I phoned Cabot Financial as I had debts to sort out, fortunately for me a really friendly customer agent answered her name was Karen. She was so helpful, understanding, listened, explained everything, patient. So now after explaining my current situation to her, my accounts are a lot better to deal with. Karen is a excellent asset to Cabot Financial with her excellent customer service skills keep up the good work and THANKYOU.

I really struggled with how to review Cabot. I've had an ongoing situation for several years where a debt in my name was passed to Cabot. I have found at times that the sheer volume of calls and letters has bordered on harassment. However as a general rule I have found the vast majority of people extremely professional to deal with and despite my often sarcastic and antagonistic stance they have invariably been professional and polite. Yesterday I finally, I think, got the result I have been hoping for. I spoke to Amy who despite my initially prickly attitude dealt with my situation very professionally and I felt with empathy.
Ironically I phoned back this morning to check on a detail that I may have got wrong and got quite simply the rudest most disinterested person I have ever spoken to. There are occasions in the past where I feel someone would have been justified in losing their composure but the guy I spoke to this morning just had a terrible attitude. Immediately put me on hold to "review" my account, refused to listen, then when I asked several times to transfer me just said "I'll send her a message ALRIGHT!’ eventually he told me she wasn't in. He was just so rude and unhelpful from the very beginning, I recognise debt recovery is a difficult job, dealing with people who may be anxious, angry and obstructive, trying to engage that person is difficult, but this one person quite clearly lacks the required skills, I'm just very glad I got him after the problem was resolved as I can not envisage any situation where I could relate to this person.
So after years of frustration it is ironic that the day after my problem is resolved is the first day I actually lost the plot on the phone. Absolutely astonishing attitude from someone who is clearly in the wrong job.
So my 5 star review is for the people who I have dealt with in the past who have remained polite and professional despite my ire, also to Amy for laying the matter to rest.
As for the person I spoke to this morning, I am sorry that this is how you feel you should treat people who may be having a seriously bad time. I'm sure you will be required somewhere else soon.

Keep calling me. I have no business with them. They ask to speak to somebody with a name I don't recognise. No help when speaking with an advisor to get my number removed from their systems, rude and ignorant staff. Shocking way to run a business, will be filing a complaint. Joke of a company, avoid.

They bought a debt I had with a credit card...I paid 2 thirds up front and arranged a payment plan over 10 months , they immediately put a negative marker on my credit profile even though they didn't have to chase me, as soon as I got a letter I rang them to sort it. Not happy with them at all, aggressive arrogant and non sympathetic. Bad experience

spoke with a man called Clyde today regarding my debts - I suffer from terrible anxiety especially when it comes to finances and phone calls and he went above and beyond to help me and make sure that the matter was dealt with in the way that would benefit me best, a very refreshing call which has left me feeling very at ease and made any issues i have seem manageable. very appreciated, a really good company with their customers best interests at heart.

Very easy to communicate with. The customer service was excellent. The customer service agents listen to my circumstances and we came to an agreement that suited both parties.
