Joe Enys did a survey on our house on instruction from a prospective buyer and sent conclusions that the house was structurally unstable and at risk of collapse with a £0 mortgage value as well as being unsafe in other areas. He then offered his client a discount to not write a report. This was proven incorrect by a structural engineer. He is either unqualified to make these judgments or after some quick money without being willing to take responsibility.

Joe Enys gave us a home survey Level 2 for our house at the north coast of Cornwall. His quote was cheaper than any other we could find and I was surprised by the actual survey he sent us. Within 49 pages, he described the current status of our future house in great detail, also attached lots of pictures to illustrate his findings and gave recommendations about the services and repairs which were needed.
We'd like to thank Joe for his great work and would like to recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a house in Cornwall.

Joe conducted 2 surveys for us as the first property fell through. On both occasions he was responsive and supportive. He spotted that the electrics on our property needed attention. In the end we had to rewire the lighting. Which was done before we moved stuff in. That helped a lot. Now using Joe to advise and manage some structural alterations that we would like doing.
