I had a very disappointing experience with B P Collins. I initially reached out for legal advice on a transfer of equity and tax liabilities and was assured by the firm that they could help. I scheduled an appointment based on this assurance. However, two weeks later—just a day before my appointment—I was informed that the solicitor assigned to my case could not provide the assistance I needed.
This last-minute notice not only wasted my time but left me searching urgently for a second opinion elsewhere. I also experienced poor internal communication within the firm, as the information provided to the solicitor did not align with what had been previously discussed.
I would not recommend B P Collins based on my experience. Their lack of professionalism and failure to deliver on promises have been frustrating, and I expected much better service from a reputable firm.

Coventry Council had contacted us in respect of an unlicensed HMO property. Rubin’s thorough and effective representation to the Council helped us secure a simple financial penalty avoiding matters at court!!

Found this firm really difficult to work with. I understand solicitors take there time in responding to correspondence but after 4 weeks of calls and requesting a call back there has been no form of contact. Escalated to a senior manager level and still no call back.

We have recently used the services of BP Collins to act in a legal matter beyond our expertise. The Solicitor handling the matter Rajiv Malhotra provided excellent advice and made a court application for an order that was required and was able to do so judiciously and without the need for attendance. He kept us informed throughout.
In the past when clients of this Firm require advice in areas of law which we do not practice we recommend them to instruct BP Collins because we find that they are able to assist in most cases and long established clients of this Firm are invariably pleased with the outcome.

We won a very expensive court case recently where BP Collins were representing the opposing defendants , their whole case was based on false evidence and an incompetent expert witness findings which were quickly dismissed by the judge during the trial ,not sure did BP Collins appoint this idiot Mr CLD but their offices are not far apart ,so suspect they did , we were accused of being racists / of doctoring evidence, and poor workmanship which was a complete fabrication and quickly vindicated in the trial the whole case was allowed to generate a general cost of almost a million , where the award was just over £ 50k mainly by BP Collins feeding on the wake of a very arrogant conceited defendant , for over 5 years the case was allowed to endure costs , the case reached the national papers when we won in the May 2024 at the trial in the high court Guildhall in London with a cost headlines, we were told just this week that the losing party and BP Collins relationship has abruptly ended , i personally would give these a wide berth if you want honest economic advice, save a lot of money and stress and go somewhere else , i suspect a response from BP Collins , but this story really needed to be told to the greater public and help other potential victims like us, just a bit of common sense was all this case needed , unfortunately that was the only thing it sadly never had , Paul Shanahan
