I have been a client at the Cosmetic skin clinic for a number of years and Tara Jackson has always been exceptional when undertaking all my treatments. She is a brilliant aesthetic medical practitioner! She is kind and very patient and will always tell you the best treatment that is suitable for you. She administers all treatments with great care and precision paying attention to you as the client. I cannot recommend Tara highly enough!

After mixed results at a few other cosmetic skin practices, I was referred to The Cosmetic Skin Clinic Stoke Poges by a friend. It has proved to be the best decision I could have made as the whole experience has been night and day from what I had experienced previously. From my first in-depth consultation with Dr Anju Mehta, which was incredibly insightful and informative, through all the treatments I have subsequently had with her, it has been a fantastic experience in every respect with no stone left unturned. I feel I am on a journey towards a more youthful and healthy complexion, with Dr Mehta fully engaged and leading the way with care, attention and skill. The results have already been fabulous after just a few months and in the process I have learnt so much about my skin and how best to look after it. The level of experience, knowledge and care provided has been exceptional and I could not recommend the Cosmetic Skin Clinic and Dr Mehta any more highly.

I was really impressed by this clinic. All the staff were friendly from the moment we entered. Receptionist was welcoming and made us feel comfortable by offering us coffee. Other staff around the clinic were pleasant with a smile. Our consultant Rachael was just amazing from the moment we met her. Rachael made us feel at ease and what can we say we were so impressed by her knowledge and down to earth advice. We never felt pressured to do any treatment and were given our own space to think. It was such an amazing experience. We have had other consultations but never this good. We will definitely be go for other treatments available. Thank you everyone at the clinic for making our experience so pleasant. Keep up the great work and we will meet again.

I was searching to have cool sculpting done on my arms preferably somewhere local, this clinic came up on top of google search. I booked an appointment and was seen by the nurse who said I was a good candidate. I told her a doctor from another clinic has told me that I am not suitable to have CS as have too much loose skin only surgery can resolve this. She convinced me that cool sculpting is a good option for me. I wanted to see before/after pictures of the nurse’s work, I asked them, if they have any photos of work done in this clinic by the nurse who carries out CS, I was pointed to a photo on the display in the treatment room it looked fantastic .
I was booked to have CS, I asked the nurse, if the work on the wall photo is hers she said yes the lady in photo had brilliant results.
Fast forward, I had two sessions costing me over £4000. I later found out that the photo used was in-fact a photo of a plastic surgery carried out somewhere else as same photo was advertised in other clinic . I pointed this out to the clinic they said it is genuine mistake!! I confirmed concerning the photo in question few times if it is photo of person who got their treatment in this clinic as this photo mainly influenced me to have treatment in this clinc, they confirmed yes it is. The photo in question has been displayed in the clinic for quite some time to lure customers on false pretense. I feel cheated and deceived. I have always been between 52 to 55 kgs. I didn’t get much results I still have bat wings. I now cannot loose weight no matter how much I diet/exercise. I feel so depressed my weight use to come off easily after this procedure it is just impossible, my arms are even bigger. The clinic won’t refund or take responsibility as I have signed disclaimers. The after photo, I was shown of my arms were clearly photoshopped.

I have had quite a few treatments while attending the clinic and every time I have visited I have been treated with respect, friendliness, and professionalism, particularly by Sylvia (my usual therapist), and more recently by Ria while have Coolsculpting.

I have to say I was a little dubious about Coolsculpting following some bad press recently, but I had an excellent result! My stomach is the flatest it has been for 15 years and to say I am delighted in an understatement.

I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to new clients just exploring their options, or to people like myself who are old-hands at undergoing cosmetic treatments.

My experience with the clinic was extremely disappointing. The only star I would give is to the receptionists who were extremely polite and Georgina who listened to my concerns patiently.

I was humiliated and racial discriminated by the practitioner Tara. My appointment was booked at 16:00, Tara saw me waiting there but did not start the appointment till 16:07. While I was waiting for Tara there was another patient asking to see Tara. It seems Tara was double booked (and hence why she brushed me off my appointment).

During the consultation, Tara’s behavior and manner was abrupt. She touched and stretched my face and neck in a rude way without telling me in advance. My skin became red afterwards. I was totally shocked physically and mentally. She asked where I am from and on hearing an answer from me she asked me: “Do all Chinese not like people touching them?” The question was offensive and unfair. I politely responded that anyone being touched abruptly of their face will feel uncomfortable. When I asked the details about the treatment Tara did not answer my question. All Tara did was bragging about the clinic and the rewards the clinic received this year which I had minimum interest.

Tara also tried to advertise the clinic by telling me a celebrity in “come and dance with me” did the same treatment in the clinic. She then immediately said” oh, you don’t watch it as you are Chinese”. How rude that was? In addition to the racial behavior I hope Tara understands disclosing client information to a third party is unprofessional and may bring a legal issue to the clinic.

When I queried inconsistent information I received between clinics, Tara abruptly told me that I should go to the other clinic in a rude manner. She then brushed me off. I was so disappointed and requested to complain to customer service. Tara then left me in the appointment room until I spoke up and asked should I wait there or not.

Georgina listened to my concern patiently and also asked a doctor to see me and provided more information which was much appreciated. However, the humiliation and racial discrimination from Tara was a metal abuse which leads to a metal shock. I could not help feeling upset when I arrived home.

If you are a Chinese as me I would not recommend you to visit this clinic as there was no respect at all at least from one practitioner.

I recently treated myself to a facial with Amanda , and what a treat that was. Amanda is professional, knowledgeable, and ultimately an excellent practitioner. I felt safe and comfortable during my consultation, and left CSC feeling more positive and confident about my skincare regime.
Just to say, I have had a few different treatments at CSC , and every single contact ( from reception staff to practitioners) has been excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending CSC. You should feel very proud of the service you provide.

I have seen Tara twice now and am thrilled with the results. I spent time researching clinics that were within reasonable distance to me and am so happy that I decided that the Cosmetic Skin Clinic was the one to visit. Tara goes above and beyond to relax her patients. She listened to what I was hoping to achieve on my budget and explained what treatments were affordable and what would enhance my facial features. I am 62 with sun damage and wrinkles on my face and in some ways not the easiest person to treat but after having botox and dermal fillers around my eyes, mouth and lips I feel refreshed and 'younger' than I have in many years. Thank you Tara, cannot recommend you enough.
