I had a great experience at City college Stratford where I successfully passed functional skills Maths level 1 and 2. I also did an extra course which was Money Management. The tutors were supportive especially my maths teacher Syed. The lessons were well-structured, making difficult topics easier to understand. The Money Management course was especially useful for real-life skills like budgeting and saving.

Thanks to the college’s support, I can now progress to university, and I feel more confident in my future studies. I highly recommend this college to anyone looking to improve their skills

City College Stratford is an amazing place to improve your knowledge and boost your grammar and pronunciation. The staff in Brixton is soo professional and they are always there for you, doing everything to support you in your way to reach your goals.
I am really pleased that I found this place, because it was my only chance to reach the goal I had for a very short time.

My time at City College studying Math and ICT was truly rewarding. The math courses provided a strong foundation in calculus, statistics, and algebra, with professors who made complex concepts easy to grasp. In ICT, I gained hands-on experience in programming, networking, and database management, all while keeping up with the latest industry trends. I recently finished my English Functional Skills Level 2, Math Functional Skills Levels 1 and 2, and Money Management Award at New City College Stratford (Brixton campus), and I couldn't be happier with the experience I had there to say the least. In addition to being extremely knowledgable, friendly, and always eager to go the extra mile to ensure that each and every student grasped the content, the tutors in this class were amazing. Through their efforts, they made difficult topics easy to understand and established a learning environment that was welcoming and supportive. A vibrant multicultural environment that allows students to connect with one another, learn from one another, and grow together is fostered by the college, which also places an emphasis on the significance of socialising. I was able to feel more at ease and a member of a welcoming and diverse workplace because to the inclusive spirit that was there. In addition, New City College places a significant emphasis on the well-being and protection of its students, making it a priority to ensure that students experience a sense of safety and support in both their academic and personal lives. The classes were perfectly organised, and the resources that were made available to us were of great assistance in reiterating the information that we had learnt. The instructors were patient and provided thorough explanations for both English and mathematics. They also offered individual support whenever it was required or required. In particular, I loved the manner in which they simplified difficult topics by breaking them down into steps that were more manageable. This made the process of learning less daunting and more interesting. New City College Stratford, namely the Brixton branch, comes highly recommended by me to anyone who is interested in enhancing their functional skills in the areas of English, mathematics, or money management. The faculty and staff sincerely care about the success of their students, and their commitment was the single most important factor in my educational experience.

I completed Math Entry Level 2 & Entry Level 3 with City College Stratford. Currently I am doing Math Level 1. I am a disable person with severe problem in my legs but the way City College helped me throughout the process I cant be thankful enough. The staffs at Brixton office are amazing. When I am at the centre attending the classes they always looked after me, always carefully pick and drop me at my vehicle. The teacher was very patient with me as I had some problem understanding some topics. I wish them all the success because I am very grateful to them as a person also. I request all the people who wants to complete Functional Skills please enrol with them. You will not only get teaching support but also you will get confidence & so much empathy from them

I think this place is good for learning and has lot of space to study and also it’s comfy for the students. I study and just finished my English level 2 Exam and starting the level maths soon so am happy with this college it helped me with a lot of learning issues
