I have to say, what a fantastic team. From Shelly handling the court of protection through to Zoe and Samantha handling the property sale everything was always handled with the utmost professionalism but with a human face and often a bit of humour. It took a long time to find a buyer but once I did, we went from offer to completion in 38 days! I didn't think that possible in normal circumstances but when you add to that dealing with the council looking to get back money paid in care costs it was truly amazing. I've sold houses before but never had a transaction, let alone a slightly complex one go through so quickly or so smoothly. The longer review - Moving house is stressful and slow. And a lot of solicitors get a bad reputation for being as useful as a chocolate teapot. Zoe and Holly were totally different. Communication was clear, they got back to us quickly, answered all our questions, and they always acted for us rather than just progressing the sale.

I had never used Pickering and Butters before and was nervous about changing solicitors, but I have to say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
