Genuinely awful company DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! It started off well and the process seemed very easy and I was estimated to get over £5 k in refunds. However after receiving my first payment communication became increasingly poor and I started waiting weeks for a reply when I finally did it was a generic message about being busy and still being on track. I then got an email stating I was no longer eligible for a refund even though I had received my first payment, I was never given an explanation and they told me they could no longer represent me in my tax refund business. Since then they have not responded to a single message or email despite me telling them I’ve received letters from HMRC requesting information regarding my tax refunds. If I could 0 stars I would

I won’t even bother to give them a star but I have to! My interaction with Riteway started off pretty well. They were professional, explained the process, they constantly gave me updates and I was on track for getting a rebate. 2 months later HMRC requested more information and that’s where it all unraveled!
Although I was reassured that “this sometimes happens” (random selection for more information) and that “I’m still on track”! I provided more and more information. This is where communication with Riteway declined. Then suddenly early one morning I got a WhatsApp message saying I’m no longer eligible and that I needed to sign a withdrawal contact! No explanation was given. After what felt like nagging to get more information, I finally got an apology which still did not explain why I was now ineligible and told to sign. Having wasted time and energy I just gave up. Moral of the story is do not waste your time!
