After 6 years with YOA, received this email today!!

“It is with great sadness that we have taken the difficult decision not to proceed with the build of a new platform for Your Office Anywhere. Based on the feedback we have had from customers it is not viable to do so.
Please be assured we have explored all the available options before taking this decision. We are sorry that we won’t be able to provide the Your Office Anywhere platform service to you going forwards.”

I would agree the previous comments on here. They have experienced a Cyber Attack and do not seem to have built the resilience to protect their clients. Their SLA confirms daily backups and 7 days worth of backups held off-site... WHY can they currently not access these backups ? Why are they not offering more information to clients ?

After experiencing a cyber incident they have lost all their clients data and more importantly any backups!

They have kept businesses in limbo with scant updates whilst promising to restore their desktop service, but it would appear the delay was for their own benefit whilst they prepared to close the DaaS service and offer no further support, recompense or solutions to their clients.

Very shameful and unprofessional on so many levels. I dread to think how many companies they have potentially wiped out and left high and dry!

Used this company for 7 years with little or no drama, but on 19th March they suffered a cyber attack and seemingly Your Office Anywhere did not have any of the systems in place that we were paying for or that they claimed to have. So far, they have provided no data, explanation, timescale or any comms whatsoever other than regurgitated blanket emails which carry a contradicting message at best. Legal action on its way

What an awful company. I am a customer with this company who have accreditation with UKAS Management Systems 0043 and also ISO27001 certificate 12813 which appears to be of no use. They have had all our data corrupted which we can no longer use and are trying to get us to pay another company a lot of money to recover our data! They refuse to give us the name of their legal representatives or insurance details. It looks very shady and they have now applied to go into Administration using Hill Dickinson. Surely their actions are illegal!

Please be warned, this company has suffered a major ransomware attack, and their systems have been down for 72 hours (since 19-03-2025). They claim to be ISO 27001 accredited which I'm sure will be revoked soon. Their communication has been lamentable and we deeply regret the day we started using Your Office Anywhere.

As a follow up to previous comments Your Office Anywhere - Cardium Outsourcing Ltd had a security breach and data held on the cloud/servers etc has been encrypted with ransomware. It is now 22 days on, they have failed to restore access to their cloud services (or offer alternatives) and failed to supply any backups, assume these are lost, encrypted or didn't exist. The letter from the COO Phil Smith i received back on 20th March seems at odds with what was actually going on. Suffice to say the service operation is NOT as advertised and customers have received very poor if not misleading communications. UPDATE: they are actually closing and have no intention of resolving. They have lied and pretended that they would resolve but was actually using the time to close up shop.

Major cyber attack has resulted in our company grinding to a halt. They have failed to provide us with any way forward. All of our data is lost to data. Even the back-up. How could this even be possible. Do not use this company.
