The Guarantee means nothing at all just try and tell you to pay more for a PIV saying its Condensation not that the damp proofing has failed

I used a contractor who uses Wykamol because of the guarantees of the product, costs a lot more but needed guaranteed work. The contractor completely let me down and refused to complete work so i rang wykamol for advice, could not believe the response! Nothing to do with us i was told, the rep, Wayne was rude and unhelpful and sent me aggressive text. Spoke with several people who did not return my call and when i rang back, was told again, not our problem! Even though i paid for their products, they have no control over contractors and when they mess up, wykamol wash their hands and do nothing! Avoid paying extortionate costs and avoid this company at all costs!!! Its a shame there wasnt the option for ZERO stars!

Rep from this company came out to measure and quote — over estimated (obviously boosting his sales figures)
Now company won’t take the product back without me paying for postage and then deducting 25% for handling charge. I wouldn’t mind if I had made the mistake! I gave emailed the sales director twice and he hasn’t got the decency to reply. The are very quick to take your money but don’t want to know when they have made a mistake and you want a refund !!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a large quantity of enviroseal and coated a detached farmhouse, the product was 100% correctly applied, stonework completely dry for weeks before, low pressure spray, exactly as per instructions on product. Then a second coat a week later. It worked well for 12 month, thereafter completely failed, it does not last as long as they state, no way near. Waste of money.

Pointless don't have a normal number you can ring. Ended having to drive to Leigh for a pack. Of fixings cause I wasn't willing to faff about setting up with them. Not about helping the customer at all just want you signing up to use em regular no thanks

Lectros (now under Wykamol Group Limited) did a treatment for rising damp some years ago at my property. I purchased the Lectros Guarantee Indemnity Insurance which covers the work in the event of failure for 30 years.

The contractor who did the work has ceased trading but the bond gives an undertaking from Lectros directly that they will carry out treatment in respect of any claims in the event that the Contractor has ceased trading, whether voluntary or involuntary.

The bond does state that they reserve the right to require a refundable deposit to cover expenses for any investigation required, but what they fail to say is that the deposit can be as much as you have paid for the work to be carried out in the first instance.

Wykamol advises that you must carry out numerous checks yourself initially to ensure the failure is not down to you and then asks for an up front payment of £250 plus VAT for a re-inspection to be carried out under the guarantee. If they determine that they are definitely at fault they will refund the money to you. What time frame this takes is unknown as they remove a sample and take it for analysis.

This process has left me feeling that purchasing the indemnity insurance was a waste of time, and it is unreasonable to expect people to pay a £300 up front payment for re-inspection. The point of purchasing the insurance was to make sure that any failure of the work would be fixed if it failed, not to make it impossible to claim under the insurance. A deposit should not be £300 when you have already paid for the work to be insured - regardless of whether or not it is refunded!!!
