Contacted Abbo to complete a structural engineers report on a property we were buying as we were concerned about internal cracking on a ceiling and cracked bricks on an external wall as we were worried about possible subsidence.The report was not as detailed as we expected and did not provide definitive answers to our concerns and gave us no confidence where to buy the property or not. No where in the report clarified if the property had subsidence which is the reassurance we wanted. I was unable to contact Abbo by phone and emailed him as I had some questions that needed some clarity with regard to his report and talk through these over the phone. I got a short email back referring me to the terms and conditions of his engagement. I left two further messages on his phone and emailed again. No response by Abbo. I guess he's got my money now and no motivation to help clarify his report further. I'm really sorry but there is no way I would personally recommend this company to anyone buying a property. In my opinion Abbo needs to be 100% more approachable. You really expect to be able to talk through the report over the phone at the very least.
