The whole experience of updating our Wills and organising Lasting Powers of Attorney was made easy/stress free for us by the way in which Alison Stimpson dealt with these.
The cost was advised to us on our first enquiry and subsequently the step by step procedures were explained clearly with all questions being answered in a clear and understandable manner. I have used Street Marshall twice, once for staircasing within shared ownership, and then again to purchase a property on the open market.

Wayne and Karen have worked on both cases, and I would recommend the services of this branch.

For my shared ownership case, it was a simpler process as less checks were needed, and really just a purchase transaction, with no wrangling, complex searches etc, but they did a very clean and efficient job.

The open market purchase was more involving, and I did need to ask lots more questions and there was naturally more back and forth between parties. The only thing I'd wished for in the purchase was there to be less of a hold-up, so I was asking Karen and Wayne to chase a lot. As the client, I was always asking for more but I think they did a good job on balance to deal with the hold-up on with the vendors, who hired one of those dreadful conveyancing factories.

The best aspect to their services was the willingness to speak on the phone and clarify details where necessary. The service was definitely personable and I felt they allocated enough time and resources to me as a client.

So on balance, I think you'll get the better end of the conveyancing market with Streeter Marshall. Their branches are reassuringly based on High Streets local to Croydon and are not a two-bit operation based in some out of town retail park.
