Absolutely would recommend renting with Shortland Horne. I have found the process stress free and so pleased with how friendly everyone has been, from the viewing with Reece, who was extremely friendly and informative about what we would need to do if we were interested, to applying for the property and liaising with Laila. Laila was so incredibly helpful, and was always sure to keep me and my partner updated on the application process. From finding the property on rightmove to viewing the property and applying, I feel incredibly impressed with how helpful everyone had been. Thank you.

We’ve had an awful experience listing our house for sale with Shorthand and Horne and would strongly advise others to think twice before using them. After some initial interest, we’ve had zero viewings for over eight weeks. Communication has been virtually nonexistent, despite repeatedly asking for weekly updates, no one bothered to call us back. They suggested reducing the price of our house via email and claimed they’d monitor the situation when I called for an update, but we’ve were met with complete radio silence.

There has been no effort to market our property and no meaningful follow-up from early viewings just a total lack of professionalism. It honestly feels like once they got us to sign their contract and agree to commission they completely lost interest in actually doing their job.

They can blame the market if they want but our house was listed in February before the new stamp duty rules kicked in.

We now regret ever listing our house with them. We’re stuck in a contract with no end in sight, and their poor service has only added to the stress of trying to move. Be extremely cautious and read the small print because once you're in, you're on your own.

Very polite and professional service.
As a new landlord, I was supported with all the details and information needed.
Everything was fully managed and arranged on my behalf including cleaning.
Support was ongoing and at no time was I not fully informed.
I was guided on Tennant suitability and received feedback from every viewing.
I am very happy with the service provided and opted for fully managed.
It would have been helpful to have been told if utility bills had been contacted and repair had been carried out or when it would take place.
Overall I am feeling reassured and positive with my decision to rent the property.
