I know of Document Direct only through my time of working at Voicepath before they were sold to DD. In an instance, the highly regarded Quality Control team disappeared as DD did not have their own Quality Control team as they guarantee "near 100% error free accuracy due to our strict induction and training process, and the fact that all of our typists are highly experienced legal and medical secretaries". That highly amuses me, having checked their typists work in my previous role I can near 100% guarantee that they kept me in a job because of the amount of errors I/we had to correct. Reading other reviews of DD it turns out that they are all 5 star ratings because they are the typists who are writing reviews of their own work, although trying to make it sound like they receive the work that is typed, I wouldn't call it fake news but a tad misleading. Anyway, I'm not bitter, I work for DictateNow who are the only outsourced digital transcription company endorsed by the Law Society of England and Wales. Happy days!
