Charlotte was helpful. Explained each question in detail to help me understand, even when I wasn't sure what to say. Kept me as ease as soon as I met her. Used practical examples to help me understand what the questions meant.

The process of booking the appointment was easy to do as well, the team even emailed me with a quick response after I thought a telephone appointment was booked rather than in person.

This whole process is very new to me, and Charlotte made the experience much easier to deal with. Thank you!

I had my assessment with Charlotte. She quickly made me feel relaxed and explained the assessment process really clearly. The assessment was more like an informal chat than an assessment which I really liked. I felt that the questions asked covered everything I wanted to say and Charlotte made sure to ask extra questions to make sure none of my areas of need where missed out. The recommendations made were extremely helpful and I wish I knew about them all in secondary school! I feel so much more comfortable about the entire university process now I know I will have some extra support in place. It will make completing my degree so much more manageable. Thank you so much Charlotte! 😊

I had my appointment with Charlotte and she was extremely helpful! It really felt like she wanted to find what works best for me. She was super constructive and worked with my problems without any negativity or condescending behaviour (which can happen a lot with things involving money and support). Only thing I would say is the microphones they use can cause a few problems and overall made communication a bit more difficult. Thank you so much!

My assessor, Charlotte was knowledgeable, insightful, gentle, kind and thoughtful, throughout the assessment process, which helped me greatly - especially as I do not like having these kind of assessments online.

Thank you, too to the admin staff, for arranging the appointment so quickly.

A great team and a beneficial experience all-round!

Charlotte was lovely and took the time to explain everything in detail to me. She was very compassionate and understanding and is not only a great assessor but also a lovely human being!

The only thing that I would say has to do with the whole system. The DSA assessment as it is now structured it is not supportive of students with mental health issues. Yes, all the softwares and consumables provided are nice but I would much rather have only some weekly credit to go towards some form of counselling or perhaps a gym subscription to help battle the low days, than anything else.
