I have had the misfortune to have to deal with this company indirectly via my own solicitors for the last 2 1/2 years although I am not their client their incompetence has impacted on my involvement in the estate of my partner for nearly 3 years, this has caused stress for the whole of our family at a time when we are all still coming to terms with things. I was told that Liam Prescott at ABH was ready to complete my transaction but now is not responding to any inquiries from anybody. I am disgusted with this company.

Appalling excuse for a company. My nanna passed away 3 years ago next month and her estate and will still hasn’t been sorted or distributed. Had so many solicitors deal with her estate that we’ve lost count currently have Liam Prescott supposedly working on it got an email couple weeks ago saying they were ready to distribute the money over to us all got to the day and heard nothing and had no replies to any of our emails. Been in to give our details and receptionists were rude and obnoxious and same goes when u call them up for updates they don’t even have a clue about half the solicitors that work there. Never been so disgusted by a company in my life. Couldn’t even grieve our loved one properly due to all the stress they’ve caused us for this long.

This firm has been extremely helpful to the point that words cannot explain how truly helpful they have been. Especially, Mr Gary Shepherd (main partner). I had the pleasure of being under his care with my 13-year long case with a preposterously difficult landlord. Despite all the difficulties, Mr Gary always had a solution and was extremely empathetic to my case. I cannot be thankful for this firm and Mr Gary Shepherd! We were the buyer, these were our sellers solicitor
They were painfully slow and only did work when chased to do so
They did not respond to emails and informed my solicitors over and over, they were too busy to take their calls. Conveyancers name was Liam.
I even had to request directly to the sellers to take an indemnity policy to cover the enquiries raised as their solicitor did not advice them and kept delaying the purchase
The purchase of a no chain property took 6 months, nearly lost our mortgage offer

we have used this company before and have never had a problem. but the sale of my late fathers house was so stressful. we started the process with rachel who was amazing. but then I'd not heard anything for a while so phoned to then be informed that rachel had left and a temp Anne had taken over the file and she said she would sort out a few things. again I'd not heard anything so phoned to then be in formed she had left and it was now with Liam prescott, I constantly needed to chase things. due to my emails and phone calls being ignored. I felt like I knew the receptionist personally, who may I had were lovely. I found liam such hard work and wouldn't recommend to anyone
