Armitstead Barnett have been extremely supportive all through the process of selling our house, including:

- advising us on the right price to put our house on the market
- managing viewings with their staff who got to know and care about our house, and then fed back on how the viewings went within 24 hours
- they answer the phone quickly every time and are super helpful (we've found this is definitely not the case with other agents!)
- helped us consider which of the offers to accept
- supported us through the sale process - chasing the chain to actually get actions done, not just finding out updates (special mention to Eleanor and Hari)
- when our chain collapsed (our buyers' buyer pulled out), they got our house back on the market, got us 6 viewings in 3 days, got two asking price offers on the table...and now exchanged!

Our house took over a year to find a buyer, due to a highway being built nearby. AB was supportive throughout the process, and responded promptly to our concerns. Nevertheless there were no easy solutions other than repeated reductions in asking price. Eventually agent Harli Rowcliffe took ownership of the sale and found us a buyer. Her professionalism and commitment were exemplary.

This was the sale of our late fathers home. Our family home when we were younger and my sister and I were keen to ensure that this emotional process was well managed. Our initial contact was with hannah Towers at the market appraisal which was well presented along with evidence as to guide price and a suggestion to try the house at a bit higher price to start with. We did this and received some interest but no offers so then we went to phase 2 of the plan and reduced.
Lots of interest and offers and a strong recommendation from AB to accompany them. Katie Elcomb and her colleagues led us through to a successful conclusion.
We had full updates by telephone and email along the way and they did all of the viewings.
Everything was much appreciated.

I suspect that many reviews for estate agents tend to be left by sellers so this one is different as my wife and I bought a house with Geena and the wider Garstang team’s help.

We did have a house to sell but this was in Kent - a very different experience!

Put very simply, the team (and Geena in particular) at Armitstead Barnett did a first class job. Calls were handled professionally and very promptly, emails were responded to well and the team cover for each other if your main point of contact is away.

Buying a house is a stress (not helped by our relocation from Kent) so having an agent helping us through the process was such a change when viewed against our selling experience that was the polar opposite!

My wife and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Armitstead Barnett to anyone thinking of selling their home.

Best decision we made renting our house with A&B. The whole letting team has been brilliant, such as Cathy who has always been super lovely every time we have spoken to her, but a special mention to Gemma who has exceeded our expectations. Gemma is super lovely and professional, and always going a mile extra for us every time we are wanting to rent our house out. Nothing is ever too much for her.
