AWH Solicitors have been brilliant at helping me reach a satisfactory conclusion with my constructive dismissal claim. Gul and Shereen have been brilliant, really easy to work with, and have always been happy to answer any questions or assure me on any concerns I've had. They were able to agree a settlement figure that I was more than happy with.

However, be mindful that even during a 'no win no fee' claim, you may still be required to pay counsel fees up front if you do not settle. I was initially advised that AWH would be able to carry out their own legal representation if my case went to court and would therefore not cost me anything upfront; however due to a clash of cases, I was informed later on that I would in fact need to paid counsel fees up front. Not necessarily AWH's fault, just something for people to bear in mind for anyone wanting to go down this route.

I didn’t enjoy my experience with Ume-Kulsoom-Anwar regarding conveyancing for both my sale and purchase. Poor communication, unfriendly, condescending and facetious. My former conveyancer even suggested that I could de-instruct her and she’d get my purchase over the line. I nearly lost my house purchase due to her inactivity. There’s no-one to refer to in the company. The only glint of hope is Jessica who seemed to deal with the final transaction. On the whole, they don’t care and customer service is not in their vocabulary. I’d avoid them at all costs. This is the 15th house I’ve purchased and I’ve never had service like it.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but have felt compelled in this case due to the outstanding service received. Safia Anwar at AWH Solicitors was an incredible support during what turned out to be a very difficult house purchase. As first time buyers, she took the time to walk us through each stage of the purchase and helped us to feel at ease with her professional yet friendly manner. All questions, whether big or small, were explained in full. As an added challenge, we had a very tight 8 week turnaround to try and meet our mortgage deadline and she was extremely efficient; ordering searches well in advance, helping us to chase the seller’s solicitors and generally doing all she could to speed the process along. Safia was always at the other end of the phone and although she was probably very busy, she made us feel like she had all the time in the world for us, even staying after hours when we called late in the day. Whenever she promised to action something it would be done straight after our phone call or latest the next day. When structural problems were uncovered at the property and the estate agents became very aggressive, Safia helped us to put things in perspective, keep our cool, and find the best way forward. She truly felt like she was on our side, and went above and beyond to do all she could for us. For these reasons, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone that needs a conveyancing service.
