I first contacted AWS to schedule a structural inspection of a load bearing wall that was showing signs of significant stress in my house.
On the day of the inspection, the engineer, Rex, was punctual, thorough and shared with me the problems with the foundation supporting the wall and recommended work to correct the problems. He took his time and answered all my questions.
Once I made the decision to move forward with the necessary construction, Rex worked with me by phone, explaining what I needed to do and recommended a reputable contractor. He made a very stressful situation less so with his knowledge, recommendations, and positive attitude. AWS truly cares about the services they render. I would recommend them without hesitation.

When I first called, Sue was friendly and unrushed and asked lots of great questions, and took time to understand our concerns about the house we are looking to buy. At the actual inspection, Rex walked me through every detail of the structural issues of the house and the potential remedies, and even pointed out a couple of other things the home buyer report had missed. Rex knew we were under a time crunch, so they both went above and beyond to get our report to us ASAP. I appreciate their time, their consideration, and their expertise and we'll be recommending them to others we know who are in similar situations.

We needed a Structural Survey and Report produced for an Edwardian residential property, to satisfy the Valuer from our Lender. Rex and Sue were very efficient, contactable and responsive in addressing the Valuer's comments and queries. Despite being a very small project in terms of their workload, both parties treated us with the respect and consideration of that of a larger job.
