I discovered Beaumonts CHARTERED Accountants after learning, the hard way, how much damage an accountant can actually do to your business.

A previous accountant ran off and left my business (and several others) in such a mess with the HMRC that we were facing potential closure and charges.

It's important to know that as a company director, YOU are responsible for what's filed, and whether it's filed on time. The HMRC won't care if your accountant was a crook, and ran off with your money, it will be you they come after, if filing is not compliant, and payments are not made. Don't assume the HMRC are receiving the tax payments because you paid it to your accountant.

Thankfully, I met Lawrence in time and Beaumonts were able to save my business and me from the HMRC.
