My first visit to Birkbrow Motor Company and I would definitely go back. From the minute I called in I was met and greeted and asked if I knew what I was looking for. I was passed to John who was so friendly, polite, courteous and professional. I sat in a few cars and after deciding on a car ( my choice with no pressure ) I was taken to the office and guided through the timescales and next steps.
I couldn't get to collect my car but on the day, John called for me at a time that
suited and took me to pick it up. He sorted out the tax and gave me all the information I needed to drive home. The whole experience was a pleasure not a chore. Thank you John.²

After buying a car previously about 2 yrs ago with no problems or breakdowns. I bought another car about 6 weeks ago. I must say I have no problems or breakdowns with this vehicle too. It is very comfortable everything work, a lovely drive with lots of extras and a good price.There was no pressure to buy. Gave plenty of time to look around.
Steve the salesman was a great, very helpful, explaining all the features of the car and how to use them. Would recommend Birkbrow Moter Company to family and friends.

I have always wanted a low milage car since i relocated to the UK 3 years ago so i started following Birkbrow Motors on facebook and constantly checking on the new arrivals.
I was finally ready to buy one this January and an Automatic car was posted ,I called immediately and Steve picked, attended to me, booked appointment to see the car, he did my documentation and even delivered the car to me in the office Today.

Karl is fabulous I’m only a young newish driver and student but Karl explained everything to me very well and facilitated all my needs. Any questions were answered clearly in a way I understood he is a lovely man. Over the moon with my car and find the 30 day guarantee really good too, incase I notice anything I’m not happy with! My mum has had two cars from them both being flawless!

After purchasing 3 cars from Birkbrow myself and recommending to many family members and friends, I would never go here again. Spoke to in a rude, unprofessional manner by the owner after returning a faulty car, then later blocked on Facebook after been asked not to leave a bad review (which I didn’t until now) - editing the review as no other way to contact any member of staff. I was offered a refund, correct, I have not once denied this but as I was told on 4 different occasions by yourselves and the garage you work alongside that there was no issue with the car, it was a ‘perfect drive’ and that it would be a carry on to change the finance, of course I kept it as I’m in no position to loose out on hundreds of pounds. When taking the car to my own trustworthy garage, they found a fault, you are able to call them up and confirm this with them, I have also shown several members of staff the message I received off them just hours before i picked the car back up stating there was an issue with a dry suspension bush and the steering column.
The owner was extremely rude, I did not turn up demanding you took the car off me that instance, as explained Birkbrow is on the way home from the garage, I simply popped in to explain the issues face to face instead of via social media because as again you know, I have bad service and cannot receive phone calls. I did not want the car taken off me at that point and did not come to return it on that day as I obviously needed the car to drive home. I was also not offered a full refund and got £300 (which my mum and I had to argue for) out of the £700 I had paid towards the car.
When I left after doing the return, we shook hands and you stated you’d contact me if you had another suitable match in, to then go home and find out I have been blocked was just completely unprofessional especially after being a loyal and valuable customer over the past 5 years and this does not include both my parents and brother in law who currently have a car from yourselves.
Steve and Karl are lovely - this does not include those members of staff however this unfortunate experience lead to them losing several valuable customers.
