I have been using Bluebird Accountancy for a while and they have made my life so much easier. The software they provide is easy to use and shows all the information required. I have a dedicated account manager who has gone above and beyond to help me to get all my accounts set up and provides really good sound advice. I have used other accountants but find that Bluebird are really good value for money and I would definitely recommend them. Darren

I would definitely recommend Bluebird, they really take care of their clients and spend the time to go through everything in detail and are happy to answer questions and explain any aspect of tax and accounting. They offer a much more personal service compared to other accounrsats I've used (and I've used a few). They get things done properly and take care of their clients. They also provide very detailed newsletter's when there are proposed changes in government legislation so as a bluebird clients you'll always be ahead of the game. Would definitely recommend.

I was recommended to use Bluebird accountancy to set up my business account. It was a great recommendation as they did everything for me on the admin side, The software is very easy to use and the accounts teams give you a quick turnaround when answering any questions whether it is related to the software, tax or accounts. I did a similar thing about 20 years ago and bluebird accountancy offer a far superior service that I got before.

I am an engineering consultant and have been working away from home for about 20 years through various Umbrella companies good and bad. Last March I have decided to jump from Umbrella to Limited company World. Since the Limited company came with several Tax and vat obligations I needed to find a good accountant who would handle everything on my behalf leaving me with zero worries.

First, I talked to a few accountancy firms found on the internet. They were very keen to get my money upfront,but had no time to answer my queries before that. Some salesmen men were using much jargon to show that running a limited company is more complicated and I would need their support to run it smoothly.

However, one company I talked to stood out from the rest. It was this Blue Bird Accountancy. After my first email, their Sales Director Kevin Gardener contacted me straight away. We had a lengthy email conversation in which he explained everything about the service they offered and how they could help me run my “one-man-band” company with zero hassle.

.As a newcomer to a Company game, I had 100+ queries and Kevin had the patience and knowledge to answer all of them accurately and in detail. Unlike some other firms, not during our email conversation over 8 days, not once he tried to push me in to sign in with them. His style was “These are the services we offer and if you are happy to join us and try, if not, you can leave us at any time with no penalties” That impressed me a lot. I have also visited an excellent website which explained their services in layman’s language as well as LIMITED, UMBRELLA, and IR35

After 62 emails and 10 days of “chat” with Kevin, I came to the conclusion that Bluebird was the ideal company for me to join as a novice Limited company man. I must say that it was the best financial decision I have made.

I have been very impressed with their service so far.If you e mail some accountants you don’t even get an acknowledgement and you start to wonder if the e mail has reached them . With Blubird you get immediate auto acknowledgement which gives you a peace of mind. You don’t have to chase them after that because y a proper response comes to your inbox from your accountant manager within 24 hours .

The main difference between Bluebird and many other big accountancy firms is that they give you a dedicated personal account manager who take the ownership of your account and ready to sort out any problems you encounter. My Account Manager Klaudia is very good at helping me guide through the pitfalls of running a one-man limited company.

Their FreeAgent software is very user-friendly. I only have to fill my expenses weekly. . You could raise invoices yourself to send to the recruitment agency you work through. Bluebird would enter your timesheets and raise invoices on your behalf FREE AGENT and leave the rest to Bluebird. They would calculate my PAYE & corporate Tax as well as VAT due. Then they would advise me when to pay them.

I also forward every correspondence I get from HMRC to them to deal with them. They also do my year-end account and many other services so I won't have to worry about anything they tell me how much I should leave in my business bank account to cover them and how much money I could draw out for personal expenses (i,e my wife's frequent trips to TK Max ) . My Limited company is there to enhance my take-home pay and I'm very pleased that Bluebird makes sure of that.

Many contractors do suffer involuntary “stay at home”period when they are in-between jobs. If your company is inactive for a period, unlike some , Bluebird would reduce their charge accordingly. That's a big plus for you.

So in conclusion, if you are a contractor thinking of starting a limited company to enhance your take-home pay, I recommend you Bluebird Accountancy. Go ahead and just make your first call/email to them) today. You would never be disappointed. So far so good. I’ve been using bluebird for 3 months now and my accountant has been very responsive and helpfull. I’ve even learned a few things from him that would come in handy if I decide to do the accounting on my own later on.

Great in helping you get set up quickly and efficiently. Offer good advice and help. Once you're up and running the support isn't there as much but I guess they're busy with new customers helping them get set up.
