Our past dealings with BPE had been great, we'd worked with them for a handful of years. Pre 2024 the service level, diligence, advice, and response times were far far better than they currently are. As it stands, I wouldn't use BPE again unless this changed.

I had the misfortune to have BPE acting for the buyer of a property I just sold. They were slow, unresponsive, did everything in a serial and sequential manner which ended up costing me more than a £1000 of unnecessary costs due to the extended time it took for the transaction to happen. If they had the wit to do things in parallel it would have been done much faster. Would not recommend them.

Despicable behaviour all round. So so slow in resolving and answering extremely simple questions. Also, without any warning in the run up, they announced on the morning of completion day that they didn’t have the paperwork sorted.

You are messing with peoples lives. Completely unacceptable behaviour and it’s 100% because you have taken on too much work and you can’t deliver. You are greedy.
