I highly recommend Brachers for conveyancing after they recently helped me purchase my first property, and in record time! My solicitor was Tim and he was efficient, had great communication and kept me in the loop every step of the way. My experience was smooth; Tim was professional and concise, I was well informed and confident after witnessing how thorough his questioning and investigation were prior to purchase. They may not be the cheapest firm around but you get what you pay for and the service I received at Brachers was second to none.

I asked several times for someone to contact me to discuss instructing Brachers to be the conveyancer for a property i am selling. I phoned and asked for a call back on two consecutive days. Only told that they were short staffed and someone would call me back. I last called on Tuesday. Its now Friday and i've had to go elsewhere! This is poor service.

Though I was lucky enough to not use Brachers I want to let others know that during my short time looking for a solicitor to remove my name from the Deeds of a property, I received 4 quotes, all were varying between £410 + Vat to £750 + Vat, Brachers quote was a mammoth £1000 + extra charges, with a further list of potential charges depending on the property situation, then + VAT, the quote was nearly 3 times more than my alternative lower quote.

Sorry but however good they may be, and I am sure they are great at what they do, the process of removal of a name from deeds is the same process no matter who does it, so why be so expensive when compared to others, who I am quite confident are equally as good as you.

My advice to anyone considering Brachers is to look at the little guys too, they are just as good, and allot better priced, and given the cost of living today, it is worth looking around.

I have been trying to pursue a medical negligence claim for some time now and this keeps being delayedt by my doctor/consultants coming up with new excuses and recently I was mis diagnosed, I contacted this solicitors to try and take action against the party's concerned and highlighted the moving goal post I had experience. And this was why my original issue was several years ago and it is because I am now aware that there is an issue as they keep coming up with new excuses which I have to research to clarify the ventality of the doctors or hospitals claims. And so when I become aware that there can new claims are not valid this is from the date that the three years date applies. Having spoken to young lady she asked me which having spoken to young lady she asked me which trusts or hospitals etc was I looking to seek redress with. I mentioned the hospitals and she clearly stated that the firm could not pursue a claim in my case as it was a conflict of interest. This is the most honest that has solicitor has been with me in regard to this matter most just say I cannot help you goodbye. as you only have a set period of time to take the case to court this is disgusting I'm hats off to this company for stating that it was a conflict of interest and they are now going to recommend solicitors out of the area who may be able to assist me and I am waiting her email as I write this. They seem to have good integrity.
