Do not go to this company - they do literally nothing. I was advised I didn't need to file tax returns, that everything would be fine, and this was simply not true - I'm now facing a HMRC bill in excess of £3000. I also have to pay penalties on this which Downend Taxsavers should in fact be liable for but I think I would be wasting my time pursuing them.

They also nearly had my company struck off because they didn't file the comfirmation statement that was sent to their office. This was simply incompetent negligence. I have had to take this over myself.

I now need to manage my own affairs and I have been pursuing Downend Taxsavers to return my paperwork since November and have received nothing. They have all my P60s etc, and no longer reply to emails. Avoid at all costs.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bristol TaxSavers to anyone that needs an accountant. 7 years of consistency, excellent customer service, very professional and helpful staff, work always completed on time, answering any queries relating to my accounts promptly and clearly. their service has proved invaluable in the running of my business.

DO NOT USE! Disgraceful customer service from what is supposedly a small team of "professionals", this company is laughable. After numerous attempts to retrieve information which my partner had already paid for, we ended up having to go elsewhere. Not surprised in the slightest that other reviews seem to suggest this company has the same level of incompetence that we had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with first hand.

My friend has been terribly treated by this company. We believe them to be fraudulent and will be speaking directly with the HMRC. They have charged him non existent fines and now refuse to talk to him. AVOID.

This company is frightful. They never answer emails, never tell you what's going on, leave everything to the very last minute and overcharge for doing almost nothing. I was very pleased to finally get take my tax stuff sorted somewhere else. Even one star is one too many.
