Absolutely appalling service from the top right down to the bottom.

I was a tenant for a property this company managed and from the very second they took over the management of the site things went from bad to worse.

You contact the office and you’re dealing with a different person every time as they all seem to work part time so things are never passed over therefore a simple task to repair something takes weeks to organise due to the incompetence of the staff and total lack of empathy.

As a tenant we did our best to look after the property we had been living in for 6 years, but this didn’t stop these guys trying to take every last penny from the deposit we had with them. We were so lucky that our deposit was held in a DPS scheme that meant the extortionate amount they tried to retain was actually returned to us. Which in turn meant a huge loss for their landlord whom they manage the site for. And comments from senior staff stating they have more profitable things to be doing with their time was so unprofessional on so many levels, given the cost of living crisis we are all facing.

I’d advise any potential tenants and landlords alike to avoid Brunton Knowles like the plague.
They’ll run your sites into the ground and cost you in the long run with total lack of service and poor end of tenancy management. As from our experience they’ll farm it all out to external company’s than rather do the work themselves.

Advice for anyone currently having their site managed by this company to take them to DPS as you will almost certainly retain more of the deposit than Brunton Knowles will offer you back.
