Dealt with Tim Wright having been left on very tight timescales by our architects who hadn’t explained we would need to instruct a structural engineer in addition to their work. I can’t recommend C2C enough! From structural calculations for a traditional roof design or single beam over a bi-fold door to multiple beams & columns on larger projects their input is always spot on! Friendly, approachable and professional what more could you want?

Absolutely useless and awful service. We paid for someone to come out and measure up for an RSJ that would be put up where a supporting wall was being taken out. We were told we had to pay and sign before we would receive the dimensions so we did. Little did we know they were going to do a rubbish job or we wouldn’t have signed! We then had then RSJ made in accordance to C2C’s measurements and found that they were COMPLETELY off by 11inches! Not even just a few cm here or there but 11inches. We rang C2C for our money back as we probably could have done a better job ourselves. We were told we couldn’t get a refund as we had already signed and paid, which we had to do to get the measurements! We were told “live and learn” and “‘it’s something to remember next time” . Shocking customer service! They said ourselves or our builder could have measured up to double check!! Which is exactly what we were paying them to do? If they can do their job properly why do we need to check? We then consulted CPR building inspectors and they couldn’t understand why C2C had also recommended us to have 2 RSJ”s inserted which according to CPR, was unnecessary. Not sure if C2C know how to do their job.

If you check the documents you sent us again you will clearly see measurements for 2 RSJ’s. After our builders brought up issues with YOUR measurements we rang up and spoke to yourselves and it was CONFIRMED that these where the measurements we needed to use for the RSJ’s. We have now had to have another structural engineer company out that were much more competent and CPR have now been out and said that the work carried out by our competent builders is correct. Maybe you should hire more competent staff and I hope that other people consider using more competent structural engineers.
