I had a need to engage the services of Castelo Notaries, and the overall service was great! The customer service was welcoming and they made the atmosphere warmly. The employee (Dipika) who attended to me was friendly and professional, and the notary was swift in fulfilling my request.

Had to get documents notarised for KYC purposes - phone Castelo Notaries astray were in Victoria ( for convenience) - the whole process was very smooth from understanding my requirements, to booking the appointment, to receiving the documents. I was assisted by Dipika, who was very efficient and transparent re timings and next steps...all in all Avery good service.

Wasn't excited to have to get something notarised but Castelo is both conveniently located to the tube, easy to deal with, and very supportive in ensuring the (sometimes persnickety) recipient has what they need. Have used them again to the same effect, equally pleased.

Important documents of mine needed to be authorised before sending abroad. I visited Castelo Notaries who were very helpful and took the documents which they notarized, had apostilled at the Foreign Office (express) and then dispatched them promptly via DHL.

Needed to get 5 signatures notarised. Original quote was £145 plus vat for 30 minutes work. Ended up having to send whole documents to same notary as they demanded they review what I was signing to ensure wasn't fraudulent. This helped then increase my charge to £545 plus VAT. Feel a little ripped off so thought would post this review and also mention that staff demeanour less than sincere

Unfortunately, the whole experience was a let down for me as the business lost me 7 working days of an important transaction because a team member confirmed that they would be able to carry out my needs. On the day of the appointment when I went in to have all my documents notarised and apostilised, having taken time out of my own work, I was told that they had only reviewed the documents that day and would not be able to fulfil my requirements.

My suggestion as a business is that the review be done more immediately to prevent loss of valuable time for your clients and uphold the reputation that you have clearly worked hard to build.

I think it is important that all members of staff from the receptionist booking the appointments upwards, should understand that the documents that you are dealing with are of a timely, financial and / or personal urgency, and therefore expectations should be managed on the ability to fulfil requirements or the process to confirm your ability a lot earlier in the process.

I hope that this advice helps as it appears from other reviews that you have a good client base but we can always learn from constructive feedback.
